Library Blog

One of the most important and exciting things we do as a librarians is venturing out of our library branches to meet the community to let them know what the library can offer them. We visit community fairs, participate in parades, man tables at back-to-school nights and represent the library at other neighborhood events. It is extremely gratifying to show residents of our county the place that our library system can have in their life. Even if someone does not need us for books we offer so much more: including job assistance and early literacy programming that can enrich the lives of anyone in Anne Arundel County.
