AARP Tax Assistance
With the tax season quickly approaching, seniors and low-income residents can receive help through a FREE service offered by AARP. AARP Tax-aide volunteers, trained by the Internal Revenue Service and the Maryland Comptroller’s Office, assist taxpayers over 60 and those in low-income tax brackets file Federal and State tax returns. AARP membership is not required.
Individuals in the Brooklyn Park area can call Charlotte Cooper at 410-636-7307, Tuesdays through Fridays, February 2 through April 9, between 9 am. and 7 pm., for an appointment or to ask questions.
