Babies in Bloom

It’s never too early to come to the library!
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their babies (up to two years) for a fun-filled half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays all specifically designed to stimulate early infant development.
Tot’s Line, a lively and informative discussion of issues and concerns related to caring for newborn to five year-olds follows all programs marked with an asterisk (*). Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.  

Wednesdays, August 4, 11 and 18* at 10 a.m.

Fun Time with Alex the Alligator

This fun 40-minute program focuses on the importance of year-round sun safety. Children will dress a picture of Alex in clothing for year-round sun protection and play a game. At the end of the program, all participants will meet Alex the Alligator.

Job Search Specialists 

 Job Search Specialists from the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation under SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program) are available to assist patrons with job searches, completing job applications and resume writing as well as to provide information about Workforce Development services

A Job Search Specialist will be available at the Edgewater branch on Tuesdays from 5 to 9 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m.  For further information, call Edgewater (410-222-1538).
