Babies in Bloom
It’s never too early to come to the library!
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their babies (up to
two years) for a fun-filled half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes
and fingerplays all specifically designed to stimulate early
infant development.
Tot’s Line, a lively and informative discussion of issues
and concerns related to caring for newborn to five year-olds follows
all programs marked with an asterisk (*). Seating is limited and
available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Storytime
Storytimes are presented for children aged two to five. Parents
and caregivers must accompany two and three year-olds, while children
four years and older may attend alone, providing an adult remains
in the branch.

Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout
Tuesday, March 30 at 7 p.m.

Through the stories, readers will not only be alternately entertained
and horrified by Olive’s behavior but also learn the secrets
that mold the lives of the inhabitants of the small seaside town
in Maine.
Welcome to the World, Baby Girl! by Fannie Flagg
April 27 at 7 p.m.
Set in the late 1970s, this novel contrasts fast-paced life in
New York City, with that of a small town in Missouri. In her quest
for happiness, New York TV anchorwoman Dena Nordstrom finds she
must confront her mysterious past in Elmwood Springs, the small
town her mother was forced to leave when she was a child.
Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner
May 25 at 7 p.m.
Weimer returns with familiar themes of love, friendship, family
dysfunction and physical appearance in her seventh novel. Childhood
best friends Addie and Valerie, who suffer a teenage falling-out,
reunite in Best Friends Forever for an unexpected
female-bonding adventure.
