Babies in Bloom
It’s never too early to come to the library!
Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their babies (up to two years) for a fun-filled half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays all specifically designed to stimulate early infant development.
Tot’s Line, a lively and informative discussion of issues and concerns related to caring for newborn to five year-olds follows all programs marked with an asterisk (*). Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Teen Workshop: “Songwriting 101: Learn to Release Your Inner Poet”

Singer-songwriter Sue Trainor will host a 90-minute workshop packed with exercises, demonstrations and performances designed to release your inner poet. A dynamic performer with a gift for stirring up creativity, Trainor is a member of the nationally touring vocal trio “Hot Soup,” as well as a Wolf Trap teaching artist. Job Search Specialists from the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation under SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program) are available to assist patrons with job searches, completing job applications and resume writing as well as to provide information about Workforce Development services.
A Job Search Specialist is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.
