- Grade 14GA Fulltime 37.5 hours/weeklySalary Range: $36,568 - $47,983 (plus longevity pay at 7,11, and 16 years)
- HIRING RANGE: $36,568 - $39,383 depending on experience.
- REQUIREMENTS: Must be eligible for professional accreditation in the State of Maryland which requires a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association – accredited program. In addition to the Master’s Degree, some experience in public libraries, knowledge of the Internet/Web, and supervisory experience preferred.
- RESPONSIBILITIES: Programming, reference and readers’ advisory work with all ages; collection development; assisting branch manager in overall branch operations, including supervisory assignments.

Crofton Branch Library
Tuesday and/or Wednesday mornings, starting at 8:30-9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Send Item List – Volunteers needed to print list, locate & process items to send to other branches or stay in our branch. Requires computer usage & some bending/reaching.
Tuesday, Friday, and/or Saturday mornings after 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Follow-Up Send Item List – Volunteers needed to do additional research to locate library items not found in (1) above and then process those items. Requires more advanced computer usage and some bending/reaching.
Tuesday, and/or Wednesday afternoons, starting 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Delivery – Volunteers needed to unpack branch delivery, place items on carts, then process and file items in branch. Requires computer usage, lifting of books, and pushing carts.
