Job Search Help

Job Search Specialists provide professional help for adults with employment applications, resumes and referrals for more training as needed. Job Search Specialists are available through a partnership with Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation. Call 410-222-6270 for available dates and times.

One-on-One Computer Training for Adults

Work individually with a librarian and learn to access your library account, search the catalog and the Internet, navigate electronic databases and set up a free email account. Instruction in Microsoft Word may also be available. Call 410-222-6270 for more
information and to schedule an appointment.

Income Tax Assistance for Seniors and Low-Income Residents

By appointment only. Fridays, February 7 through April 11.
Volunteers trained by the Internal Revenue Service and the Maryland Comptroller's office will help taxpayers over age 60 and those in low-income tax brackets prepare their federal and state tax returns. Self-service electronic filing is available using the library computers. This service is free of charge. Please call Audrey Creamer at 410-255-6964 between 9 am and 5 pm to make an appointment.
