Weekly Storytimes

  • Preschool Storytime: every Tuesday at 10:30 am
  • Babies in Bloom: every Wednesday at 10:30 am
  • Toddler Storytime: every Thursday at 10:30 am

Meet Twig, the smallest library branch!

Twig was funded by the Local Development Council to provide enhanced library access. Twig regularly visits neighborhoods and community gathering places in and around the Severn area. Updated Spring schedule coming soon!

Severn Renovation

The Severn Library was recently renovated! Come take a look at our fresh new design including glassed in meeting room space, plentiful study nooks, and a café area.

Military Family Resource Center

The Severn Library is just around the corner from the Fort Meade Military Base. We welcome families new and old who have been stationed at Fort Meade. Your library is a wonderful place to get started knowing your community. Stop in and visit our Military Family Resource Center, a special collection curated with books and resources on topics related to military family life.

The Healing Library: Death of a Loved One collection is available at all Anne Arundel County Public Library branches.
