Black Clover is a manga series that is currently ongoing with 32 volumes released as of this post. The story takes place in a world where everyone has magical powers, except for the main character Asta who is an orphan without any magical powers. Despite this he wishes to become the Wizard King, a dream he’s had since he was a kid. Throughout this story Asta and his rival Yuno, both work hard in hopes to become the wizard king fighting enemies, making friends and training hard.

The characters in this manga are well written and to me feel real. I really enjoy the characters and the art. Many moments within this series made me laugh. It was an engaging story that made me want to continue to read to see what would happen next and how the story would end. The themes in this story were also well written and one of the themes that is seen in the series is found family.

I think any ages from 12 and older would enjoy this series but there’s no specific age, anyone can enjoy this manga, especially someone who enjoys books or shows with fantasy elements. The show does include slight profanity and blood but nothing really bad. I do recommend this series for anyone interested, there is also an anime series of this manga.
