Find a book you like? Scan it with BookLook!

Did you know the library’s new mobile app allows users to find out if we have a book you see in a store? BookLook Mobile™ allows AACPL Mobile App users to see if any book is available in our library system simply by using a smartphone or tablet.

If you find a book you like at a friend’s house or a store, open up your AACPL Mobile App on your device and scroll down to the “BookLook” link. You can then either scan the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) barcode or type in the ISBN number to see if it is available at the Anne Arundel County Public Library.

With the mobile app you can even put that selection on hold or download it to your device. With the AACPL Mobile App you have the entire library on your phone!

I was reading an eBook on OverDrive and clicked to my digital check outs online when I couldn't find it on my computer program. Is this down because the Annapolis library is closed?

The Severna Park Library will be open on Monday, February 15 (barring any unforeseen weather events). The Annapolis Library closure would not affect your digital checkouts in any way. There have been some problems with the newest version of the Overdrive app. Please try uninstalling it and reinstalling to see if that works. If it doesn't, please contact Overdrive Frontline Customer Support at http://tinyurl.com/gqm8paa.
