Remote Library Card Validation - Net Library

 
To access the Net Library website from a non-AACPL computer you must enter a valid AACPL card number.

To download from NetLibrary, You need to get a NetLibrary Account by visiting an Anne Arundel County Public Library Branch creating an account at NetLibrary.

Downloadable AudioBooks from Recorded Books and netLibrary

Recorded Books are now available on MP 3 files. Titles include existing Recorded Books titles including Pimsleur language files and the Bible, a total of 500 titles to start with additional titles added monthly.

Circulation – 3 week period; License can be renewed at the end of the 3 weeks without downloading. Patron limited to 6 audiobooks checked out at a time.

Files are downloadable to a home PC & then to MP 3 player (but not Ipod). You need to create your account in a library branch but downloading a title needs to be done to your own computer's hard drive so the title can be activated using Microsoft's Media Player.

PC based eBooks

These are electronic versions of homework resources licensed by by Anne Arundel County Public Library (AACPL) from netLibrary in the areas of Cliffs’ Notes, science and social studies for elementary and middle school students. “Read” these titles on the computer screen in the library or remotely from home for three days.
