Seventh Annual Teen Cover Art Contest

The theme for 2017 is "Libraries Transform."

Teens aged 11 to 18 are encouraged to share their best artwork.

Winning artwork will grace the cover of the Fall 2017 issue of Library Happenings and artist will receive a $75 gift certificate to ArtThings in Annapolis. A second place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

Submit artwork between Wednesday, March 1 and Sunday, April 2, 2017. Entries will be shared on the Library's Facebook page. Artwork will be on display at the Severna Park Community Library between during National Library Week (April 9-15). A reception for all participants and their families will be held at the Severna Park Community Library on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00 pm, during which we will announce the winner.

Entries can be dropped off at any Anne Arundel County Library location, or emailed to aacplsocial@gmail.com. All entries should be two dimensionsal and portrait-orientation. Digital submissions must be high-resolution (300 dpi or higher) and all entrants must have an AACPL library card.
