Color Our World This Summer @ Your Library

Summer is just around the corner, and if you’re hoping to brighten your next few months, look no further than the library! At Anne Arundel County Public Library, we are excited to bring you another year of fun with this year’s Summer @ Your Library experience, where we hope you’ll help us Color Our World!

As always, we have a Summer Quest for our youngest library users. Children can set a goal of reading each day or complete an activity. After reaching 15 and 30 days of the Summer Quest, visit the library to claim your rewards! This year, you will also see some extra fun prizes being given away at each library location.

Adults, you’re in luck! We will be continuing our wildly popular adults-only Wild Card Bingo game this summer. Adults (ages 18+) can sign up online or at one of our libraries. The Bingo card is full of unique activities to get you visiting your library and exploring your community. Completing one line of “Bingo” gets you one raffle ticket; completing the entire “card” gets you another ticket. If you’re wondering why you would want two entries in the raffle, it’s because one lucky winner will receive four (4) round-trip tickets courtesy of Southwest Airlines! (Many thanks to our Library Foundation for helping to make this possible!)

And finally, for our teens – we promise we didn’t forget about you! We are pleased to announce our brand-new Teen Gameboard with an entertaining playing experience for customers ages 11-17. Log your reading or do special activities to earn up to 500 points. When you get halfway with 250 points, visit one of our libraries to pick up your prize. When you reach 500 points, visit us again for a second reward. You will also be automatically entered to win the grand prize – a Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Bundle!

There is something for all ages this summer! So, make sure to visit one of our 16 library locations to sign up for Summer @ Your Library. Experience the fun that is available for free every day and make memories that will last forever! While you’re there, be sure to participate in our county-wide art project based on Jim Gill’s song and book, May There Always Be Sunshine. To see full details of all our summer events, please visit our Summer @ Your Library homepage. We hope to see you soon!
