A Maryland STEM Festival event

STEM Conversations is a casual gathering of individuals who are eager to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) topics in an open and relaxed environment. The program is designed to be welcoming and inclusive, with no prior knowledge or experience required. Everyone is encouraged to participate and engage in the discussions, including:

  • How to use a microscope?
  • How to measure electricity with an Ohm meter?
  • What do radio waves look like and using an Oscilloscope?

Anyone of any age is welcome to attend. The direction of the conversations will follow the audience’s questions.

Please register for each attendee to ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.

American Sign-Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least 24 hours prior to the event date.  For questions, email translations@aacpl.net.
