Event Details

Join us for a special Story Hike at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center! Meet at the Reed Education Center to enjoy a story and learn about local birds, and then take hike with binoculars to peep some feathered friends on the Fox Creek Nature Trail. Limited binoculars available - please bring your own if possible!

This hike is 1.3 miles long and is not recommended for strollers. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Parking is limited at the Reed Education Center; please carpool if possible.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
