Event Details

Join us for a special Story Hike at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center! Meet at the Reed Education Center to enjoy a story and learn about river otters in the Chesapeake Bay, and then take hike to the Marsh Boardwalk to look for signs of otters on the SERC campus. 

This hike is 1.3 miles long and is not recommended for strollers. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Park at the Reed Education Center (see attached map). 

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
