High school diploma or equivalency; computer experience using WINDOWS-based programs.
PREFERRED: Customer service experience.
Provide customer service to Library customer at the Circulation Desk: Checking out materials, checking in returns, promoting library services, registering customers for library cards and resolving fines and other concerns related to customers’ borrower accounts.
SCHEDULING: Availability and Flexibility required. MUST have good availability weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., AND weekday evenings between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., AND good Saturday availability at least once or twice each month. May be required to work up to two Sundays per month during the Sunday season. No set schedule or number of hours/week are guaranteed. Work is scheduled on an as-needed, on-call basis.
MANDATORY TESTING &TRAINING: If hired, must be available to attend and successfully complete all training during the month of May: Initial training will take place May 11 through May 15, 2020; then eighteen additional hours of on-the-job training beginning May 18th.
