We are offering wireless printing among our Curbside Pickup services! A variety of document types can be printed, including pdf, doc, docx, html, txt, and jpg. Printing is possible from any device with an internet connection, including personal computers and smart phones. The cost is currently free, but individual customers are limited to 10 black-and-white pages per day.
To print, customers may upload files directly from their laptop at home from AACPL's Wireless printing page, or on a mobile device using the SmartAlec App (requires iOS 10 or greater). Instructions for installing SmartAlec are available here.
No formatting changes can be made once a file has been submitted, so double check before sending.
Once a file has been uploaded, wait 15 minutes and then call your preferred library branch to inform them of your print job; be sure to have your library card or SmartAlec guest user number handy. Then come during curbside hours and call the library again to let staff know you've arrived. You must call within 24 hours of uploading your file to ensure it is printed.
