On June 19th, we gather to commemorate Juneteenth, a significant and historic observance that symbolizes the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

What do we think about when we think of summer? It’s a season that conjures many memories of neighborhood block parties, leisurely reading by the pool or beach, attending concerts and unwinding with games.

April is Arab American Heritage Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the rich and diverse contributions of Arab Americans to the cultural, social and political fabric of the United States.

A message from Anne Arundel County Library CEO, Skip Auld: 

On Monday, April 8, the library will switch to a new computer system. This is a big change for library staff, but the impact on customers should be minimal.

March is Women’s History Month, a month of celebrating the many achievements and triumphs of women around the world.

February is Black History Month, a month-long celebration of African American history and the rich culture and achievements of the Black community.
