"Breaking the stigma around the "but you don't look sick" mentality starts and ends with you. So even though I "don't look sick," I am, because it's so much more than looks. Disabilities and chronic illnesses are not, nor have they ever been, a one-size-fits-all style." I absolutely adore this anthology. It features a mix of stories, comics, art, and informational guides. I absolutely loved the art and comics. I think the informational guides were also incredibly helpful and informative. They featured questions and topics that so many people have, but are never brought up/asked. These stories cover a wide range of people, disabilities, and illnesses, including some I had never heard of before. I loved the diverse range of voices. I recognized some of my favorite authors but also discovered new ones. I don't think there is a single person I wouldn't recommend this book to.

It is an insightful look into how ableism, sexism, racism, and preconceived biases affect people of all colors, sizes, and ability levels. No matter how much you think you know about different bodies, this book will have a story that will widen your world view.
