Anne Arundel County Public Library Hosts Events to Honor Asian Pacific American Heritage Month 

(April 30, 2024 – Annapolis, MD) Anne Arundel County Public Library is offering the following events at area libraries to recognize May’s Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. 

 

An Introduction to Taiko, The Art of Japanese Drumming 

Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 pm (Busch Annapolis) 

Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 pm (Broadneck) 

Enjoy both traditional and contemporary songs and explore instruments, voice, history and vocabulary.

Enjoy an interactive program about Pacific geography, greetings, live music and drumming. Learn a simple Hawaiian hula dance!
