What's Happening at Glen Burnie Library
We are pleased to announce that Thursday, February 27, from 6–8 p.m. is the rescheduled date and time for the new Glen Burnie Library community meeting, which was previously canceled due to snow. Due to a staff workshop earlier in the day, the library will be open only from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday. Morning programs, including Music and Movement and Preschool Storytime, will still be held as scheduled. Everyone is welcome to attend the evening community meeting at the branch.
Caring Cupboard
We are proud to host a Caring Cupboard with free pantry items outside our branch! We welcome community members to take what they need and donate what they can.
Located at the parking lot entrance as you drive in.
Citizenship Corner
Free informational handouts provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services department including Welcome to the United States guides, pocket study booklets for the Naturalization test, language identification guides and more! Civics and vocabulary flashcards are also available to borrow in the library.

Upcoming Events
Children will explore open ended activities and play by building, shaping, and manipulating objects to create something new. Curiosity and creativity abound, fostering the development of cognitive and functional skills.
Toddler Time
Children ages 18 to 36 months (with caring adult) enjoy a variety of developmentally-appropriate stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building early literacy skills.
Music & Movement
Sing, chant, play instruments and dance while exploring sounds, rhythms and patterns that make up our language.
Preschool Storytime
Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
Have you noticed the many plants in our branch? Learn about our plants and how we keep them happy, and share tips with fellow plant lovers. Includes demonstration of taking cuttings and potting.
