Help us help the planet by participating in our Community Shred Event! Shredding unwanted papers helps keep them out of landfills by recycling the materials.

Participants can bring 4 bank size boxes of materials to be shredded in the library parking lot. Please enter the library parking lot as normal and follow the signs. Cars can exit as normal onto West McKinsey Road after their documents have been shredded.

This event is in partnership with Realtor Connita Wilson, and Chesapeake Paper Systems.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are available with advanced notice for library-sponsored programs. To schedule an interpreter, complete this request form at least one week prior to the event date. For questions, email programming@aacpl.net.
