Event Details

This June, show your Pride through art! Interested artists and crafters can submit their paintings, drawings, graphic designs, collages, poetry/written word submissions, and handicrafts (anything that can be hung on the wall!) to the Odenton Library from June 1st to June 18th to be part of our "Share Your Story With Pride" Art Show.

The Art Show Reception will be on Tuesday, June 25th from 6pm – 8pm. The art will be displayed in our meeting room from June 25th to August 15th, and can be viewed during hours our gallery hours. Artists can pick up their pieces after August 17th.

Don't know what to make? Come to one of our Pride-themed art programs in June to create your own masterpiece to submit to the art show.

Submissions are open to people of all ages connected to the broad and inclusive umbrella of the LGBTQ+ community. We believe that no one should have to be forced to be out to consider submitting their artwork. We ask artists to self-reflect whether they believe they are an appropriate person to submit to a Pride-themed art show. Art can be displayed anonymously or under a pseudonym.

Can't make it to the Odenton Library? Virtual submissions can be submitted through: (Link Coming Soon!).

For more information, call the Odenton Library at (410) 222-6277.
