Edgewater Library on Thursday, November 2 at 6 pm
Teens can spend an evening learning about Native American artists and create art inspired by their work! Submitted creations will be displayed in the Club 1117 gallery. Supplies provided.
Deale Library on Friday, November 3 at 10:30 am
Join us for fun preschool art where your little ones will have the opportunity to create and explore art inspired by Native American artists.
Busch Annapolis Library on Saturday, November 4 at 2 pm
During this program by the Irvine Nature Center, kids will learn about how Native Americans made use of local natural resources through friction fire-making methods, tool use and communication techniques.
Deale Library on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 pm
Adults are invited to make a dreamcatcher and learn more about this tradition.

The Piscataway were the first Native Americans to encounter Captain John Smith along the banks of the Potomac River in 1608. Today, the Piscataway Nation Singers & Dancers carry on the long-standing traditions, culture and heritage of their indigenous ancestors.
