What's Happening at Odenton Library

The Odenton Library is asking for Volunteens again this summer!

This is for teens who will be 14-18 by the beginning of the program.  Paper applications can be picked up in the library and an online application can be found here.  Applications are due by May 1st.
 


Need basic computer help?

Our Lab Tech is available for virtual or in-person help! Topics include:

  • Foundations of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Internet navigation 101
  • Setting up an email account

Babies in Bloom

Mondays

Age Group: Babies (Birth to 18 months)
Babies from birth to 18 months (with caring adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes and playtime while building early literacy skills. A great way to get to know other families in your community!

Toddler Time

Tuesdays
10:15am - 10:45am and 11:15am - 11:45 am

Age Group: Toddlers (8 - 36 months)
Children ages 18 to 36 months (with caring adult) enjoy a variety of developmentally-appropriate stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building early literacy skills.

Preschool Storytime

Thursdays

Age Group: Children (3 - 5 years)
Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.

Chess Club

3rd Wednesdays

Age Group: For All Ages
Play chess and learn from other players. For all ages and skill levels.

Teen Writing Club

2nd Thursdays
7pm - 8:30pm


Age Group: Teens (11-17)
Teens and tweens ages 11-17 explore the craft of writing through prompts, sharing, and feedback. Must register to receive a Zoom link to this online event. 

Anime and Manga Club

2nd Tuesdays
4:30-5:30pm

Age Group: Teens (11-17)
Come hangout with us for Anime and Manga Club! We will have discussions, games/events, or even an anime viewing.
