You may think you can solve this book along the way like I did or think that the ending is just going to be so obvious, but little do you know just how wrong you are. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a murder mystery book by Holly Jackson. This book is about a senior girl named Pippa solving a murder case for her capstone project in Fairveiw, a murder case that still haunts her town five years later. The murder is about a girl named Andie Bell and her boyfriend Sal Singh. People say that Sal Singh killed his girlfriend and then killed himself out of guilt, but is that really what happened or is that just what people believe?
Pippa goes through dangerous trials to solve this murder and she will discover new things every day, not just about the murder but about people around her, and even herself. Things will unravel and secrets will be brought to light, but whose secrets will they be, Andie Bell’s or maybe even friends?
The best part about A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is that you never know what’s coming next, and the fact that it gives you the option to try to solve it on your own because it’s told from Pippa’s point of view, so when she gets clues so do you and more if you read in between the lines, there’s really nothing to dislike. This book will keep you on your toes while trying to guess the next mystery and will make you want to keep turning pages. Will things go unanswered, will everything just fall into place, or will the ending be all too tidy? Will there be a happy ending or will everything just stay the same, everyone saying that Sal Singh really did kill his girlfriend, Andie Bell and commit suicide out of guilt. If you like murder cases, suspense, mysteries, murder mystery documentaries and more this is definitely the series for you.
