AACPL has a New Instagram Just for Teens!

We have a new Instagram account just for the teens of Anne Arundel County! Teens are busy volunteering, creating, and innovating, and we at Anne Arundel County Public Library wanted to provide a safe space to share their voice, to celebrate their hard work and passions, and to keep them up to date on important information.

Did you know the Odenton branch’s Teen Writing Group has published two anthologies? Have you seen the blooming artists in the Glen Burnie branch’s Anime & Manga Club? Or hear about how the teens in Crofton and Severn put together pet toys for local animal shelters? We can’t wait to highlight all the talent our teens bring to our community!

As a trusted source of information, we also want to share relevant, focused resources on mental and physical health, education, and more. The main reason we created an Instagram account for our teens, though, is to amplify their voices and give them a safe space to share ideas and connect to one another online. Be on the lookout for review excerpts from the Club1117 Review Crew (teen book reviews by teens for teens), photo challenges, teen book recs, writing prompts, and other library fun!

Give us a follow @aacplteen - we can’t wait to hear from you!
