Sunday hours resume September 12.
 
Directions: 

From the Baltimore/Washington Parkway, head west on Rt. 198 less than 1/4 mile, then turn right at the first traffic light onto Russett Green East. Go past WalMart entrance, then turn left onto Russett Common. The library is on the left.

What's New?

We now have expanded operating hours and the return of IN-PERSON weekly Storytimes!

Expanded operating hours

Monday - Thursday 10 am - 9 pm
Saturday 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday 1 - 5 pm

In-person weekly Storytimes:

Babies (birth - 18 months):  Mondays at 10:30 am    
Toddlers (18 - 36 months):  Tuesdays at 10:30 am
Preschoolers (3 - 5 years):  Tuesdays at 11:30 am   

In partnership with Caring Cupboard, we have a Little Free Pantry! The mission of the Caring Cupboard program is to try to ensure that no citizen, and especially children, in Anne Arundel County suffers from food insecurity or hygiene issues of any kind and for any reason through providing food and basic necessities. We are proud to host a Caring Cupboard and we welcome community members to take what they need and donate what they can. If you drive towards the Russett Community pool past our building, it is on the left in the grassy median on our property.

Around the World with Street Photography - September 20 at 7 pm (Virtual)

Get your camera and passport ready to travel around the world virtually and learn Street Photography, the art of taking interesting photos that record everyday life of people and their behavior on six continents. Family Book Club - September 28 at 7 pm  (Virtual)

Reserve the last Tuesday of the month to join us for our new Family Book Club. Read as a family or on your own, but bring the unique perspective of your age and experience to our book discussion. Ages 9 to 99 are welcome and encouraged to join us. Don't forget to invite your family and friends from next door or across the country. 

For September, the Family Book Club is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. Our book for September is Efrén Divided by Ernesto Cisneros. Twelve year old Efrén must grow up quickly when deportation breaks his family apart.

HIV Testing Clinic  - September 29 10 am -2 pm
