Vanessa Len’s Only a Monster follows the main character, Joan. She’s the archetype of the girl-next-door trope; the antithesis of a rebel. A string of unfortunate events sends Joan and the reader on a journey through time.
September 18 – 24 is Banned Books Week, an annual celebration of our freedom to read in the United States, as well as an opportunity to bring awareness to books that have historically or recently been challenged in our country.

There is a new museum pass available for library cardholders! The recently added Historic Annapolis group pass allows admission to both the Museum of Historic Annapolis and the William Paca House and Garden located in downtown Annapolis.
